About the Artist
Jasmine Nichelle is Michigan/New York based actress and singer/songwriter with a focus in contemporary dramatic and comedic plays.
Nichelle's passion for the arts is integral to the woman she is, writing music with her musician family as early as three years old. She has written and produced several scores for one acts, devised collegiate work, and documentaries.
Though her focus and recent work has been on stage, she has an extensive history with screen work, starring in two short films in the past year. Jasmine also spent her time at Ithaca College rehabilitating and leading Black Artists United, a club in which Jasmine served as the President, creating safe spaces and performance opportunities for artists of color through cabaret-fundraisers, workshops, and community service.

Jasmine's recent collegiate work (The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and Caesar) have been showcased at Ithaca College where she wrapped up her fourth and final year pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in the Center for Music, Theater, and Dance.
She closed her favorite production that she has ever been in, Stupid Fucking Bird at the Hangar Theater in Ithaca, NY, playing Emma this past Fall and she recently originated the role of Agent Lee in The Pass at The Kitchen Theater in Ithaca, NY.

When Jasmine is not on stage, she can be found in a thrift shop with her headphones and iced chai with mocha in tow or in front of her big window where the sun hits her floor just right reading the most corny romance novels or working in a flower shop as a seasonal florist.

Jasmine is excited to collaborate and connect with fellow artists that hold culture and love ethic close to their artistry.
